Burton Road was once a doctors’ surgery, split into ten small rooms across two floors. We saw the opportunity to expand the Brayford House brand by transforming the property into five spacious short-stay apartments. Each designed for independence and comfort, offering guests everything they need for a self-contained stay.

The original two-storey surgery lacked coherence for modern use, but it carried clear potential. We set out to reimagine it as a property that could deliver both brand consistency and real guest value. Our ambition was straightforward: create apartments that felt generous in layout, high in specification, and practical for longer or repeated stays.

Each apartment was designed as a complete living space, with its own bathroom, fitted kitchen with modern appliances, washing machine, and dining area. By focusing on usability and durability, we created an accommodation model suited to business travellers, visiting families, and weekend visitors alike. The redevelopment gave new life to an underused building while strengthening the Brayford House brand with a property that performs reliably for guests and owners.
